i received a complimentary upgrade to a room on the first floor. the room featured spacious dimensions and amazing interior design. the spa access was a definite plus, since there were very few other guests when i visited.

the hotel is quite dated. my room's air conditioning barely worked. i reported it twice, and maintenance attempted repairs, but it remained warm. i ended up paying extra for an upgrade just to get a room where the air conditioning was functional. this felt unfair and really impacted my experience.

the air conditioning in my room was faulty (it barely cooled the space). i reported it to the reception, and they sent someone to fix it twice, but it never really worked. eventually, i had to pay extra for an upgrade to a room where the air conditioning functioned correctly (that was irritating).

The hotel is in a convenient location, close to restaurants, cocktail bars, historic buildings and a shopping boulevard. I enjoyed breakfast in the hotel restaurant and received a big portion of delicious avocado toast. The front desk staff was great. The bell boy took care of bringing my luggage to the room.
The room air conditioning had a limited cooling capacity on a hot day.

Breakfast features fresh items arranged meticulously. the staff provides attentive service. Guests can dine inside or outside. Soft piano music accompanies breakfast with eggs, bacon or a crisp petite pain au chocolat. The food presentation is amazing.

The internet capacity was sufficient for all my devices. The room had an electric kettle with complimentary tea and sugar. The hotel offers to clear the minibar fridge ' personal items. The hotel also repaired a defect in my bathtub within minutes.
